Shannon Wee Heavy is a rich and malty traditional Scottish ale with hints of caramel, toffee, and fruit esters. This beer is brewed to have a slightly sweet start with hints of baked fruit and peat flavors with a low hop bitter. Grains include pale malts, roasted barley, chocolate malts, and a blend of crystal malts. The big malt profile is accentuated with an extended boil and balanced with a blend of noble hops. Tasting notes include caramel, toffee, and baked fruit.
